Getting things done since leaving Unitec has been difficult and at some times impossible to do. Having achieved a new member in my family party I decided to take things easy and put the art in the back seat. (our new party member has already maxed out his 'Crawling' level, wields the 'Aura of Cuteness' x8 and his finishing move is the formidable 'Poonami'.) But yes, not much time for art. I have been able to do a series here and there, illustrations, a painting. Ultimately though I'm not achieving a huge amount and what I am getting done isn't cohesive, or unified towards a particular theme. So with the prospect of kids going back to daycare

Time for a new journal! What better way to update than with the positive news of more works being completed!! The last two months have been pretty awesome in terms of being productive with my design. The piece in the spotlight now is a painting. This is significant for me. I get very involved when I paint. I turn into a perfectionist with a meticulous method. A painting gets layers upon layers built up, with many aspects being changed, before I'm satisfied. Sometimes I can't even pick up the brush for several days until my painting mojo is ready. In other words it takes a hell of a long time to finish. You have to put in the effort to get
